Who we are
Mist — Minimal New Tab is a browser extension made and sold byAurelien Luxey, an independent developer. Contact:aurelien.luxeyy@gmail.com. Orders are processed byPolar, the merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles sales tax and VAT.
The free extension
Mist is free to install from the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons. Everything outside Mist Pro stays free, with no account and no ads. You may use it for personal or professional browsing. You may not copy, resell or redistribute its code, themes or branding.
What Mist Pro is
Mist Pro is a digital product: a license key that unlocks every Pro widget in the extension, today the Habit Tracker, and every Pro widget added later. It costs€4.99 as a one-time payment, with no subscription. The final price, including any tax due where you live, is shown at checkout before you pay.
Delivery
The license key is delivered immediately after payment, on the confirmation screen and in the receipt email. Paste it in Mist under Settings > Widgets > Mist Pro. If the key does not arrive or does not activate, email aurelien.luxeyy@gmail.com.
Your license
One key is a personal license for one person, in up to 10 browsers at a time. Removing the key from a browser frees that slot. Do not share, publish or resell your key. Keys that are refunded, charged back or obviously shared publicly can be deactivated.
Refunds
If Mist Pro is not right for you, email aurelien.luxeyy@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No reason is needed. The refund goes back to your original payment method through Polar, and the key stops working afterwards. Your habits stay on your device either way.
In the EU and UK you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content until its delivery starts. Because the key is delivered right away, that right can end at delivery, but the 14-day refund above still applies.
Availability and changes
Mist and Mist Pro are provided as they are. We fix bugs and keep them working with current browsers, but we cannot promise they will be free of errors or that every browser will keep supporting them. Pro features run on your device and do not depend on a Mist account.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for Mist Pro is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Your data
Mist needs no account and keeps your habits and settings in your browser. Theprivacy policy explains what the license check sends and what Polar receives.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. The terms in force on the day you bought Mist Pro apply to that purchase.
